Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of RoleFit at userolefit.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use RoleFit.
2. The service
RoleFit helps users parse resumes, compare them with job descriptions, review AI-assisted edits, check keyword overlap, and export application documents. RoleFit is an editing tool, not a recruitment agency, employer, legal adviser, or guarantee of an interview or job offer.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email, keep your password secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. Credits and purchases are attached to the account used at checkout. Contact Support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Your content and AI output
You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you provide. You give RoleFit permission to process that content only as needed to operate and secure the service. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion and ensuring your final application is truthful, accurate, lawful, and appropriate. Do not use RoleFit to invent qualifications, employment, achievements, or credentials.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, access another person's account, upload malicious files, probe or disrupt infrastructure, automate abusive requests, resell access without permission, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use the service for unlawful or deceptive activity.
6. Credits, payments, and subscriptions
Prices shown at checkout apply to the selected package. Credit-pack credits are added after verified payment and do not expire while your account remains available. A tailoring operation normally consumes one credit; a credit is restored when a confirmed service-side processing failure occurs. Subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund the current period.
7. Refunds and delivery
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Digital delivery is described in our Digital Delivery Policy. Payment processing is provided by Razorpay and may be subject to its terms.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service. AI and third-party services may occasionally be unavailable. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve paid credits and restore credits consumed by confirmed service failures.
9. Disclaimers
RoleFit is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ATS behaviour varies by employer and system, so match scores and formatting guidance are indicators rather than guarantees.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RoleFit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-opportunity damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid to RoleFit during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through Support, subject to records we must retain.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Questions or notices can be submitted through RoleFit Support.
